Kitchen Equipment Needed
9×13-Inch Baking Dish: Ideal size for layering the dessert.
Mixing Bowls: For combining ingredients.
Electric Mixer: For mixing the cream cheese filling.
Spatula: For spreading layers evenly.
How to Make Banana Split Cake
Step 1: Prepare the Crust
In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Stir until the mixture resembles wet sand. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish to form the crust. Place in the refrigerator to set while you prepare the filling.

Step 2: Make the Cream Cheese Filling
In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth and creamy. Fold in the whipped topping (Cool Whip) until well combined. Spread this mixture evenly over the graham cracker crust to create a smooth layer.

Step 3: Add the Fruit Layers
Arrange the sliced bananas evenly on top of the cream cheese layer. Next, spread the drained crushed pineapple over the bananas, followed by an even layer of diced strawberries.

Step 4: Add the Whipped Topping
Spread a generous layer of whipped topping over the fruit layers. Make sure to cover all the fruit so each bite has a creamy, sweet taste.

Step 5: Garnish and Serve
Drizzle chocolate syrup over the whipped topping, sprinkle with chopped nuts (if desired), and add maraschino cherries on top for a classic banana split look.
