Pour 300 ml of 12% white vinegar into the toilet bowl. The vinegar’s acetic acid will react with the limescale (calcium carbonate), breaking it down and making it easier to remove.
3. Mix the Ingredients:
Use a toilet brush to mix the salt and vinegar thoroughly. Scrub the sides of the toilet bowl with the brush, spreading the mixture over all areas affected by limescale. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes to an hour to allow the mixture to work on breaking down the deposits.
4. Optional: Repeat if Necessary:
For stubborn limescale, you can repeat this process or let the mixture sit overnight before scrubbing again.
