For this recipe you'll need:
•600ml water •1tsp salt •100gr TVP (textured vegetable protein) •3tbsp soy sauce •1tbsp vinegar •1/2 red chili pepper (about 5gr) •2 garlic cloves •1tsp ginger powder •1/2tsp pepper •1tsp paprika powder •2tsp tomato paste •1tsp onion powder •3tbsp water sunflower oil (enough to cover the bottom of a large pan)
So TVP is short for textured vegetable protein and it's made from soy. They are these hard dry pieces that you need to rehydrate and then you can use them however you like.
