Slow Cooker Root Beef BBQ Pork Ribs

Directions:
Prep the Ribs:

Start by removing the silver skin from the back of the ribs. You can do this by sliding the back of a spoon underneath the membrane and then peeling it away with your fingers.

Season the ribs generously with salt and pepper.

Cook the Ribs:

Place the seasoned ribs in a 6-quart slow cooker. Pour the root beer over the ribs to give them a sweet and tenderizing bath.

Cover and set your slow cooker on low for 5 hours or on high for 3 hours. This slow cooking process allows the ribs to become wonderfully tender.
