Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare strawberries: Wash and slice strawberries. Set aside 1 cup for filling and 1/2 cup for topping.
Roll dumplings: Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into triangles. Place a few strawberry slices at the wide end of each triangle. Roll up the dough, tucking in sides to seal strawberries inside. Place rolled dumplings in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
Make sauce: In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Stir until sugar is dissolved
