1 pound ground beef (or ground turkey)
1/2 cup breadcrumbs (Italian or plain)
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 large egg
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce (store-bought or homemade)
8-10 hoagie rolls (or sub rolls)
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)
Instructions:
Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Make the meatballs:
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
