The kettle only works when the lid is closed. If it is not closed, the water will still boil but more electricity will be consumed. The kettle will not automatically turn off and can easily cause fire or explosion. Close the lid before boiling water!
Use with a thermos to keep hot water longer
Don’t boil water with an electric kettle many times a day, use a thermos to keep hot water longer, that will help you save more electricity. After boiling water from the electric kettle, pour it into a thermos and use it gradually when needed.
Notes when using the electric kettle:
– Pour the correct amount of water, do not pour too little or overflow the kettle.
– Do not hold the power cord to unplug the plug, hold the plug immediately to avoid the risk of electric shock due to exposed wires.
– Dry your hands, the base and the body of the kettle before use to limit electrical risks.
