Mom lines up Saltine crackers on tray, makes her famous Christmas 'crack' in no time

Ingredients:
1 package of saltine crackers (sufficient to cover the bottom of your baking tray)
2 cups of chopped semi-sweet chocolate chunks
1 cup of dark brown sugar
1 cup of butter without salt
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
2. Line a baking tray with tin foil. Spray with nonstick spray.
3. Lay out saltine crackers side by side on tray.
4. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt brown sugar, butter, and salt until it boils into a smooth sauce. Add vanilla extract.
5. Pour the caramel over the crackers. Bake for 5 minutes until bubbly.
