Step 1: Combine Milk and Sugar
1️⃣ Pour the milk into a medium saucepan.
2️⃣ Add the granulated sugar to the milk and stir to combine.
3️⃣ Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.

📌 Tip: Stir occasionally to make sure the sugar dissolves completely in the milk, and keep an eye on it so the milk doesn’t burn or boil over.

Step 2: Simmer and Reduce
1️⃣ Once the milk mixture comes to a simmer, reduce the heat to low.
2️⃣ Let the mixture simmer gently for 30–40 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes to ensure it doesn’t stick to the bottom of the pan.
3️⃣ As it simmers, the liquid will begin to thicken and reduce. You want the final consistency to be thick and syrupy. The mixture should reduce by about half.
