Identify the small door that is usually at the bottom of the washing machine and pull it towards you. If not, you may need a screwdriver. Once this is done, you will have access to the siphon plug. Place a small cup under the lid and gently turn the cap counterclockwise to prevent the water from suddenly flowing out. This will allow the water to end up in the cup and you will be able to check if there is a blockage in the appliance.

After running the water, remove the filter and shake it to remove anything that may be stuck. This could be debris, a sock, coins, or other small objects. You can then put everything back in its place and close the small door at the bottom of the washing machine.
