Fill Danishes with Cheese Mixture: Carefully add a small amount of the cheese mixture (about a teaspoon or a bit more) into the center of each prepared Danish indentation. Be careful not to overfill.
Add Cherry Filling: Open the can of cherry pie filling. Spoon 4 to 5 cherries (and a bit of the filling juice) onto the top of the cheese mixture on each Danish, according to your preference.
Bake: Put the prepared Danishes in the oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the crescent roll dough is golden brown and puffed.
Cool: Remove from the oven and let the Danishes cool completely on the baking sheet or a wire rack.
Prepare Glaze: While the Danishes cool, prepare the glaze. In a small bowl, whisk together the ⅓ cup granulated sugar and 3 tablespoons milk until you have a thick, pourable mixture for glazing. (You can also use a beater for this if you prefer a very smooth glaze).
Glaze & Serve: Drizzle the glaze generously over the top of the cooled Danishes.
