This is the dish I would pick if I could only eat one forever!

Oven Baked Potato and Cheese Gratin
Servings: 6
Ingredients
2 pounds of potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
2 cups of shredded cheese (such as Gruyère or cheddar)
1 cup of heavy cream
2 cloves of garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon of butter, for greasing the dish
1 tablespoon of chopped fresh parsley or chives, for garnish

Directions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with butter.
Arrange a layer of sliced potatoes in the bottom of the dish.
Sprinkle some minced garlic, salt, and pepper over the potatoes.
Add a layer of shredded cheese on top.
Repeat the layering process until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of cheese on top.
Pour the heavy cream evenly over the layered potatoes and cheese.
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and crispy.
Garnish with chopped parsley or chives before serving.
