Recipe: French Fry Casserole

Ingredients:
14 ounces of frozen French fries of choice
1.5 pounds of lean ground beef
3/4 cup of processed cheese sauce (like Cheez Whiz)
1 can (10.75 ounces) of condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
1/2 chopped onion
1/2 diced bell pepper
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F and grease 9x13 baking dish.
2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
3. Add the diced onion and bell pepper to the skillet with the cooked ground beef. Sauté for a few minutes until the vegetables are tender. Add in cream of mushroom soup and season to your liking. Simmer.
4. Transfer the cheese sauce into a bowl that is safe for microwave use, and heat it at a low power setting for approximately 30 seconds until melted.
5. Transfer the beef mixture into a baking dish, spreading it evenly. Top with cheese sauce on top.
6. Arrange the frozen potato fries on top of the cheese mixture in an even layer.
7. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 20-30 minutes, or until the fries are golden and crispy.
