My grandma always made these in big batches for neighbors, now I'm carrying on the tradition!

Hawaiian Pizza Grilled Cheese Sandwich
Servings: 2 servings
Ingredients
4 slices of bread (sourdough or your choice)
4 slices of deli ham
4 slices of mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup of pineapple chunks (drained)
2 tablespoons of butter (softened)
1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon of dried oregano

4 slices of mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup of pineapple chunks (drained)
2 tablespoons of butter (softened)
1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon of dried oregano
Directions
1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
2. In a small bowl, mix the softened butter with garlic powder and dried oregano.
3. Spread the butter mixture evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
4. Place two slices of bread, buttered side down, on the skillet.
5. Layer each slice with a slice of mozzarella cheese, two slices of ham, and a few pineapple chunks.
6. Top with another slice of mozzarella cheese and the remaining slices of bread, buttered side up.
7. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
8. Remove from the skillet, let cool slightly, and then slice in half. Serve warm.
