Creamy Cajun Steak Alfredo on Bed of Pasta
Servings: 4
Ingredients
1 pound sirloin steak, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
2 tablespoons olive oil
12 ounces fettuccine pasta
2 tablespoons butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped parsley for garnish
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
2 tablespoons olive oil
12 ounces fettuccine pasta
2 tablespoons butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped parsley for garnish
Directions
1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. Season the sliced steak with Cajun seasoning, ensuring each piece is well-coated.
3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak slices and cook until browned and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and set aside.
4. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat the noodles in the creamy sauce.
7. Return the steak slices to the skillet, gently mixing them with the pasta and sauce.
