- Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.

- Cook ground beef: Cook ground beef, onion, and garlic in a skillet. Season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Drain excess fat.
- Make creamy filling: Combine cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and milk. Add to cooked beef mixture.
- Assemble casserole: Spread beef mixture in prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with 1 cup of cheddar cheese. Arrange tater tots on top.
- Bake: Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until tater tots are golden brown and crispy. Sprinkle with remaining cheddar cheese and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
- Serve: Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
