Spaghetti Pie Recipe

Instructions

 

1. Preheat & Prep

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • Grease a deep-dish pie plate.

2. Make the Spaghetti Crust

  • Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain well and return to the pot.

  • Stir in butter until melted.

  • In a small bowl, whisk eggs and Parmesan cheese, then mix into the spaghetti.

  • Press the spaghetti mixture into the pie plate, forming an even crust.

3. Prepare the Cheese Layer

  • In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, parsley, and basil.

  • Spread evenly over the spaghetti crust.

4. Make the Meat Sauce

  • In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion until browned. Drain excess fat.

  • Stir in diced tomatoes and pasta sauce. Simmer for 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.

  • Spread meat sauce over the ricotta layer.

5. Bake & Add Cheese Topping

  • Bake for 20–25 minutes.

  • Remove from oven, sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, and bake 5 more minutes until bubbly.

6. Serve

  • Let cool slightly before slicing.

  • Enjoy warm!
