Hydrate the Gelatin
In a small bowl, mix 1 tsp gelatin with 2 tsp cold water.
Let it sit for a few minutes until it absorbs the water and thickens. -
Heat the Milk
In a small saucepan, warm the milk over low to medium heat.
Do not boil. Once warm, remove from heat. -
Combine Gelatin and Milk
Add the hydrated gelatin to the warm milk and stir until fully dissolved. -
Chill the Mixture
Place the milk-gelatin mixture in the fridge for about 10 minutes until it’s cool and slightly thickened. -
Whip the Cream
Use an electric mixer on high speed for 5–7 minutes until the cream becomes fluffy and holds its shape.
Add vanilla extract during mixing for a touch of aroma.
