Instructions
1. Cook the chicken
– In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
– Add chicken and cook until golden brown and fully cooked.
– Add garlic, soy sauce, and honey. Simmer for a few minutes.
– Mix cornstarch and water, stir in, and cook until the sauce thickens.
2. Sauté the green beans
– Heat olive oil in a pan.
– Add green beans, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
– Cook until tender-crisp and bright green.
3. Sauté the mushrooms
– In a separate pan, heat olive oil or butter.
– Add mushrooms, thyme or Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
– Cook for 5–7 minutes until browned and fragrant.
4. Serve
– Plate the chicken with green beans and mushrooms for a balanced, colorful dish.
5. Optional addition
– Add a serving of rice, quinoa, or cauliflower rice for a more filling meal.
