As a kid, my mother would prepare these. I finally came across a recipe, and they are even more delicious than I remembered. I can't wait to give them as gifts this year.

Chocolate-Covered Hazelnut Butter Bars
Servings: 12
Ingredients
1 cup hazelnut butter
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
1 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
1 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 tablespoon coconut oil
Directions
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the hazelnut butter, melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
2. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, creating a firm base.
3. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
4. Pour the melted chocolate over the hazelnut butter base, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
5. Refrigerate the bars for at least 2 hours, or until the chocolate is set.
6. Once set, cut into bars and serve. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
