1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped cilantro or green onions for garnish

1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, and lemon juice.
Place the salmon fillets on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, skin side down.
Pour the maple soy mixture over the salmon fillets, ensuring they are well coated.
Season the fillets with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Once cooked, remove from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
Sprinkle the chopped cilantro or green onions over the salmon before serving.
