Lemon Chicken Crumb Bake
Servings: 4
Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup melted butter
2 lemons, zested and juiced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 cup heavy cream
Fresh parsley, for garnish
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup melted butter
2 lemons, zested and juiced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 cup heavy cream
Fresh parsley, for garnish
Directions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Place the chicken breasts between two sheets of plastic wrap and gently pound them to an even thickness.
In a shallow dish, combine the flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Dredge each chicken breast in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
In another dish, mix the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, and lemon zest.
Dip the floured chicken into the melted butter, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
Place the chicken breasts in a greased baking dish.
Drizzle the olive oil over the chicken and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the topping is golden brown.
While the chicken is baking, prepare the lemon sauce by combining the lemon juice and heavy cream in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir until slightly thickened.
Serve the chicken with a dollop of lemon sauce and garnish with fresh parsley.
