How to Make the Master Tonic
Ingredients:
1 thumb-sized piece of fresh ginger, peeled and chopped
1 teaspoon ground cloves (or 5–6 whole cloves)
1 small cinnamon stick or 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon turmeric powder (or 1-inch fresh turmeric root)
1 tablespoon raw honey
Juice of 1 fresh lemon
1 small garlic clove, crushed
1–2 thin slices of raw onion (yellow or red)
2 cups filtered water
Instructions:
In a saucepan, bring the water to a gentle boil.
Add ginger, cloves, cinnamon, turmeric, garlic, and onion.
Lower the heat and let it simmer for 10–15 minutes.
Remove from heat, cover, and let steep for another 10 minutes.
Strain the mixture into a cup.
Add lemon juice and honey while the liquid is warm but not hot.
Stir and sip slowly!
Recommended Use:
Drink one small cup (100–150 ml) daily, preferably in the morning on an empty stomach or between meals for best absorption.
