Chocolate-Filled Vanilla Cake — An Explosion of Sweetness

👩‍🍳 Preparation:

1. Prepare the vanilla cake

Preheat the oven to 180°C.
In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until creamy. Add the eggs one at a time. Then stir in the vanilla, flour, baking powder, and finally the milk.
Pour the batter into a greased and floured pan. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes , until a knife inserted comes out clean.
Let cool completely.

2. Prepare the chocolate ganache

Heat the cream. Remove from the heat, add the chocolate pieces and stir until you get a smooth, glossy ganache. Add a knob of butter to make it even more melting.

3. Assemble the cake

Cut the cooled cake in half lengthwise. Spread generously with ganache, then close.
You can also cover the top with the remaining ganache or simply sprinkle with icing sugar.
