So I came back with him. We talked to ChloƩ, we reassured her. I took things in hand: calls to associations, help with administrative procedures, a few home-cooked meals dropped off from time to time.
It wasn't much, but we did it together.
Since that day, I have never looked at my son the same way again.
He is no longer just a teenager I watch out of the corner of my eye; he is a young man the world can already count on.
And if one day I still doubt... I will remember that day. The day I thought he was hiding something stupid from me, when in reality, he was hiding a great beauty.
